Bug Report Guide

How to report a problem clearly so we can find it and fix it quickly.

What Counts as a Bug?

If any of these happen, please report it:

A page does not load — just shows blank

A link goes nowhere or leads to a 'not found' page

A button does not respond when tapped or clicked

A calculator result looks clearly wrong

A checklist will not open or expand

Print or Copy does not work

Text overlaps or is cut off on mobile

The mobile menu does not close after tapping a link

A warning message or result looks broken

A page takes more than 10 seconds to load

What to Include in Your Report

The more detail you can give, the easier it is for us to find and fix the problem.

Page link or page name (e.g. 'Tile Calculator' or '/calculators/tile-project')

What you clicked or tapped

What you expected to happen

What actually happened

Device you were using (phone, tablet, laptop, desktop)

Browser if known (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)

A screenshot if you can take one

Steps someone else could follow to repeat the issue

Severity Guide

Use this to choose how serious to rate the bug.

Low

•Typo or spelling error
•Spacing looks slightly off
•Minor wording confusion

Medium

•Button or link problem
•Calculator result seems wrong
•Mobile layout broken
•Copy/Print does not work

High

•Page completely blank
•Route not found / 404
•Unsafe or incorrect guidance
•Calculator gives clearly wrong answer
